GECSA is a non-political gathering of organisations and individuals committed to the promotion of Emergency and Catastrophe Management through dialogue and networking. GECSA members are from all regions of the globe.

Goals
GECSA aims to facilitate exchange of ideas and information related to the field of emergency and catastrophe management.

The objective of the IECM 2014 is to contribute towards the capacity building of the responders during an emergency situation. The event will focus on issues faced during emergencies through new practices, methodologies, case studies which will be discussed by experts from the field.

Vision
Created to promote and maintain the  dialogue and knowledge transfer between organisations committed to the continual study and search for excellence in the field of Emergency and Catastrophe Management.
